Health is at the heart of the concerns of the French. Even more since Coronavirus crisis. The questions are many; treatment of cancerexhaustion of caregivers and hospital reform, sex education while young people are often exposed to violence, end of life debate and euthanasia, mental health…
All these questions generating so much debate will be discussed without waffle at the Moho at Caen (Calvados) Friday 9 and Saturday 10 December 2022.
Specialists, great witnesses, for debates and exchanges
On the initiative of the newspaper Releasethe forum ” LibéCare Let’s invent the health of tomorrow »first of its kind, will bring together caregiversof the specialistsof the great witnessesof the electedto address all these questions with an “open heart”.
The program will be spread around numerous conferences, debates, workshops, exchanges led by the editorial staff of the major daily around personalities such as the psychiatrist Christopher Andre that we hear every day on France Inter, Charline Vermont, trainer in sexology including Instagram account brings together 700,000 people, or even the gynecologist Ghada Hatem creator of the first women’s house in Seine-Saint-Denis.
Free and open to all
Supported by Normandy region which invests tens of millions of euros each year in health while it does not come under its administrative jurisdiction, the forum is open to all and free of charge. You only have to register here.
To pay Hervé Morin, President of the Normandy Region, investing in health is a subject that cannot be discussed. “Our action aims to respond to the concerns of the people of Normandy, so even if health issues are not our direct responsibility, our role is to provide the necessary answers. When you have to wait months for an appointment with an ophthalmologist or a dentist, the mission of the local community is to find solutions…”
There is a shortage of 800 dentists in Normandy
Normandy has thus chosen to put 200 million euros on the table to finance the hospital modernization program. “It’s almost as much as the state,” insists Hervé Morin.
When 800 dentists are missing in the region, the community is funding the creation of two dental schools to train the practitioners of tomorrow. “But to meet immediate needs, we have created dental chairs to allow 5-year-old studentse and 6e years of receiving patients. »
It was therefore natural for Hervé Morin for Normandy to support the forum organized by Release.

To take a simple image: the stretcher-bearer who smiles at you or takes your hand when he takes you to the operating room will not change the result of the operation, but he will help to reduce your stress and will therefore put you in a better mood”.
It has always been said that a patient who is in good spirits is perhaps better placed on the road to recovery. For twenty years, scientific studies have confirmed this.
Christophe André will sign his latest book ” Consolations, those we receive and those we give » at MohO in partnership with the bookstore Culture DraftSaturday 10 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Charline Vermont or talking about sex with humor and pedagogy
Followed by 700,000 people on his Instagram account Orgasm and me“, Charline Vermont which teaches courses at the Sorbonne and publishes books on sex education, with the ambition, through humor and staging, to do “what national education does not do”. France puts under the carpet issues of sexuality and sexuality education. »
While the sexual and gender-based violence multiplying, the issue of sex education has never been so significant.
My work aims to fill the interstellar vacuum of national education on the subject while a 2001 law provides for three annual sessions, from CP to terminale, on questions of sexuality, nothing happens at school. the law is not enforced. Or, it’s a public health issue.
The Instagrammer deplores this incapacity of public authorities to educate young people. An insufficiency which inevitably leads to deviance and risky behavior where the notion of “consent” is finally completely ignored.
Breaking the taboo in families
“Parents have their share of responsibility. The subject of sexuality remains taboo and is not sufficiently discussed in the family. They are afraid that by talking about “those things, they will make their children want to practice…”
The study of the sexual behavior of young people in Scandinavian countries, where the subject of sexuality is discussed much more freely both at school and in the family, shows just the opposite.
Contrary to popular belief, the age of first intercourse is much later there, and the number of teenage pregnancies much lower than in France.
To help parents deal with these topics, the Instagrammer has just published ” Body, love and sexuality, the 120 questions your children will ask you“. Saturday 10 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Charline Vermont will participate in the debate “Sexualities: how to free speech? » with Sarah Durocher, co-president of Family Planning and Noëlla Bugni-Dubois, founder of the “Our allies, men” account.
She will be signing her latest book from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, December 10.
