die Rural youth district of Lungau focuses on insect mortality this year. The campaign is based on two focal points, on the one hand raising awareness among the “little ones”, i.e. the elementary schools in Lungau, and on the other hand raising awareness among our own members. The main goal was to reach as many people as possible and to make them think.
The Salzburger Lungau & Carinthian Nockberge Biosphere Park, the Tamsweg Agricultural College and the thema:natur association were all involved as cooperation partners for the project with the children. 14 of the 17 Lungau elementary schools accepted the offer of a joint workshop with the rural youth members. On this morning together, attention was drawn to the topic of insect mortality in a playful way and insect hotels were built together for the home. Among other things, all 9 local rural youth groups in Lungau were encouraged to set up an insect hotel in their home town.
Under the title “DU.ICH.WE – FOR A COMMON TOMORROW” die took Country youth Salzburg in addition to climate change and future energies, we also take a close look at the consumption of today’s society. For the rural youth of Salzburg, the question also arose: “What can we do today to set an example for tomorrow?”
In this context, the Landjugend Salzburg set up a federal agricultural group on the subject of forest stories. In order to get a feeling for the consumer behavior of the rural youth members, the rural youth of Salzburg started the survey concept “Karla-Konsum asked about” on Instagram, which was carried out on nine Fridays a year. In the symposium of the future, the topics of energy transition, living in the future, a possible blackout and New Work – working in the future were examined in more detail in exciting lectures with a top-class speaker.
Bronze for the rural youth of Lamprechtshausen and the rural youth of Göming
On the bikes, ready, go! In the course of this year’s rural youth project Rural Youth Lamprechtshausen they thought about how they could bring the knowledge about the place closer to the citizens of the community. In the course of this, old knowledge and ideas were collected in many meetings with our community citizens, as well as with our mayor. With this information – from agriculture to sights and historical information about Lamprechtshausen – the project team designed a total of 8 stations, which are stationed in the municipal area by means of information boards. Overall, an information cycle path was created over 14 kilometers, where you can explore the place in an hour in a sporty way.
In order to strengthen the community in the community, to create a place for the residents where they can spend many hours of fun and engage in joint activities, die thought Country Youth Göming completely rebuild the existing but very run-down sports and playground. A major goal of the rural youth for several years has been that the community residents can use the playground and sports field in their own village again and no longer have to continue. After much deliberation and discussions with the community, the perfect place for the volleyball court and ideas for the redesign of the existing courts (soccer, basketball and table tennis) were found.
