Volleyball EuroVolleyW2023 – The complete calendar, debut in the Verona Arena for the Azzurre – iVolley Magazine
Romania will be the first opponent of the Italian women’s national team in the 2023 European Volleyball Championship, a tournament organized by Belgium and Italy. The European Confederation has formalized the official calendar. The continental champions will make their debut in the wonderful location of the Arena di Verona on August 15 against Romania, to then face Switzerland (August 18) and Bulgaria (August 19) in Monza and finally close group B in Turin, where the matches will be staged against Bosnia and Herzegovina (August 22) and Croatia (August 23). In Italy, more precisely in Florence, 4 eighths and 2 quarter-finals will also be played, while the semi-finals and finals will take place in Brussels.

19/8 Monza: Italy – Bulgaria

The pools will be played with the round robin formula, at the end of which the first four classified in each group will access the round of 16 and will face each other according to the following scheme.
