Open house: ÖBB apprenticeship workshop presents “Apprenticeship you can touch”
At the open day on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., directly in the training workshop in Innsbruck, Wiltenberg 1a, there will be all the information about the wide range of training opportunities at ÖBB.
INNSBRUCK. Anyone who would like to know where young railroad workers are trained and how exciting and varied an apprenticeship at ÖBB can be can find out all this at the open day in the new ÖBB training workshop in Innsbruck. On Friday, December 9, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., apprentices and their trainers will give an exclusive insight into the exciting world of ÖBB apprenticeship training.
50 apprenticeship places for young people
Around 140 young people, including 15 female apprentices, are currently being trained on site in the five technical apprenticeships of electrical engineering – plant and operating technology, metal technology – mechanical engineering, track construction technology, electronics – applied electronics and mechatronics – automation technology and in the apprenticeship of office clerk.
For the coming apprenticeship year starting in September 2023, the ÖBB apprenticeship workshop in Innsbruck is looking for around 50 new apprentices.
The ÖBB Group would like to get even more women interested in technology – applications in this area are therefore particularly popular.
