OG Clean Fuels acquires FordonsGas NGV stations in Sweden
A total of 41 locations will be added to OG’s current network of nine locations offering customers Bio-CNG and Bio-LNG fuel capacity.
OG Clean Fuels has received the network of stations from FordonsGas in Sweden. This acquisition enables the alternative energy company to strengthen its market position and expand its growing network of fossil-free vehicle filling stations in Europe.
The procurement of FordonsGas fuel stations means that 41 stations will be added to OG Clean Fuels Sweden’s current offer. The agreement covers fixed assets consisting of 36 Bio-CNG (compressed biogas) and 5 Bio-LNG (liquid biogas) filling stations.
Adding this to the nine already existing locations for OG, the brand has now secured its position as one of the top three market leaders in Sweden. The acquisition allows the company to largely expand its current offer within environmentally friendly fuel alternatives for both heavy and light vehicles from the south of the country all the way to Stockholm.
“The acquisition allows us to enormously grow our presence in Sweden and offer clean fuels to a larger demographic. Going forward, we have many more exciting projects underway both in Sweden and Europe in general, and will continue to invest heavily in CBG, LBG, Hydrogen , HVO100 and electric cars,” says Marcel Borger, founder and CEO of OG.
OG Clean fuels was founded in 2008 and its fuels are 100% cleanly produced and green financed. The brand mostly produces clean fuel themselves and has many ongoing projects with external partners as well. In addition to the expansion in Sweden, OG is continuously working to expand its network and currently has over 250 sustainable refueling points in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden.
