Fourth place with sixteen points in the home table of the 1st class west, number fourteen as bottom of the table with one point away. That is the very different balance sheet SV Innsbruck II in the first half of the 1st class West. Away, the SVI was beaten below value, there were a few more points possible. Coach Inan Danisman analyzes the performance of his team in the first half of the 1st class West 2022/2023.
Looking back at the first half of the autumn 2022 season?
Inan Danisman, coach SV Innsbruck II: “We have improved significantly since last season. This is because our average age has increased after a few arrivals and departures and we have matured. We’ve also grown closer as a team. I think so we have more fun with football.
It is particularly pleasing that we remained unbeaten at home and beat several opponents who are above us in the table. The away statistics with only one point, on the other hand, are of course disappointing, actually shocking.
Goals for the second half?
Inan Danisman: “We can and would like to improve further. My goal is to get in the top 5. Above all, we have to improve our physical condition. For several years we have never been able to prepare as we had imagined due to the pandemic.
With good winter preparation and better away statistics, we can achieve this goal. It has to be said that we had more bad luck (especially away from home) than luck. Otherwise we would already be in the top 5.”
title favorites?
Inan Danisman: “In my opinion, FC Fliess is the favorite for the title. After this strong first half of the season, they deserve their first place and I don’t think they’ll give up their lead that easily. But you never know, there are always a lot of factors involved in football. The league seems more balanced than in previous years. In addition, arrivals and departures cannot yet be predicted. Unfortunately, our KM is currently in a relegation battle. Let’s see how this WILL listen to us. We can definitely expect an exciting second half of the season.”
