Ukraine will send about 60 vessels as part of the Grain from Ukraine program
By the end of spring, Ukraine plans to send about 60 ships with food to the right countries as part of the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian initiative.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was said by video message.
“In general, by the end of spring, we will send about 60 ships with humanitarian cargo. It literally saves millions of people from starvation. I am grateful to all our partners who joined the Ukrainian initiative,” said the President.
In other words, our state prefers him to actively move towards one of the points of the Ukrainian formula for the world – food security. And he uses every day so that the world sees and feels that global stability is possible only together with Ukraine.
“Today, the third one arrived in the port of Odesa ship within the framework of our Grain from Ukraine initiative. 25 thousand tons of humanitarian wheat will be sent to Somalia. The second ship, which is finishing loading in the port of Chornomorsk, will go to Ethiopia. 30 thousand tons of his wheat are on board. Also, the first vessel under this program – “Grain from Ukraine” – added the head of state.
He also reminded that another initiative of Ukraine – Grain Export – made it possible to put almost 13 million tons of domestic agricultural products on the food market.
“A significant contribution to world security. We are doing everything to increase supply,” the President concluded.
