A 31-year-old Bosnian grabbed his German girlfriend by the neck during a heated argument and threatened to hit her in the head. After the arrest at Mirabellplatz, the man was searched in the police detention center. Several pills and a cannabis-like substance were found on him. His drug test was also positive. He is reported for several crimes.

Violent relationship dispute

At noon on Tuesday, November 29th, a heated argument broke out in front of a supermarket in the city of Salzburg. During a relationship dispute, a 31-year-old Bosnian is said to have grabbed his 34-year-old German girlfriend by the neck and threatened her. He is said to have coerced her with the words “stop, I’ll count to three or I’ll hit you on the head with the phone”.

In another episode, the man was found in the Mirabellplatz area and stopped by the police. He tried to escape and hit one of the police officers twice in the chest with the palm of his hand, pushing him aside. The Bosnian was arrested and taken to the police detention center.

Drugs intus and thereby

A search of the collection center found two grams of a cannabis-like substance and several tablets on the man. The rapid drug test was also positive for several substances. He WILL now be charged with coercion and drug possession, among other things. Furthermore, a ban on entering and approaching and a ban on weapons was pronounced against him.
