IPO 1 million Gtd San Marino, over 500 registrations for January 2023
Bookings are up for theItalian Poker Open from €1 million guaranteed prize pool which will be played from 3 to 10 January 2023 at the Games of the Titan with over 500 registrations already totaled.
The announcement arrived at the end of October and the players didn’t let themselves be asked given that, among other things, seat reservation is free but offers players the security of having one place to arrive, sign up and play without the risk of a waiting list. Especially in some flights, those who know the IPO know that the possibilities are very high and, therefore, it is better to think about it in time since the format will be on the poker agendas of all players.
A stage not to be missed as has often happened with the restart of the year which it is up to to propose to this format whose brand is managed by PkLive360 in collaboration with Euro Rounders.
Let’s go back to the event, therefore, the main event will have a guaranteed prize pool of 1 million euros and, one year later when the Government of San Marino, due to Covid-19, canceled the date, IPO tries again but this time there shouldn’t be problems. The news, which came out on the tournament’s social networks, has already ignited great enthusiasm for a reference tournament in a location that is fresh from the latest record of IPS, the other very strong Italian live poker brand. San Marino is increasingly a point of reference and the Giochi del Titano has shown that it is ready and is already working for the beginning of the year event by adapting the spaces capable of attracting hundreds of players a day.
WHAT TOURNAMENT WILL IT BE? – As we always like to say, the “recipe” of the IPO, a bit like carbonara, does not change and must never change: the buy-in will remain at 550 euros (490+60) with no less than seven initial flights, one of which is Speed with 25-minute levels scheduled for Saturday 8 January, before Day2 at 18:30. The “normal” Day1s will have the 45 minute levels with the late registration scheduled at the 11th level and 1 re-entry possible for each flight for the players. The structure provides for the passage to the 60-minute blind level for Day2 while, from Day3, there will be no less than 75 minutes to play for one of the most playable late stages of live poker in Europe.
The stack will be 40,000 chips, also unchanged.
THERE ARE ALSO SIDE EVENTS, CASH GAME AND SAT – Everything seems very focused on the main event and with 1 million euros up for grabs it is totally understandable. There will also be cash games, of course, but also qualifying satellites for the first three days and also with 20 guaranteed tickets, divided between Tuesday 3 January (10), Wednesday 4 January (5) and Thursday 5 January (5). There is room for the 220 euro Omaha Pot Limit IPO on January 5th while waiting for the Master IPO. Day1 of the 990 euro tournament and 50,000 chip stack and levels of 45 minutes on Day1 and 60 minutes on Day2. It ends on January 10 at the same time as the main event. Also scheduled are a Sunday Side, a Monday Side and a Closer Deep.
