Training, friendlies… The Red and White program for the recovery camp
Back on Monday at the Performance Center, the AS Monaco players will head to Benidorm in Spain tomorrow to complete a ten-day preparation stage, with a view to the resumption of the championship on December 28.
They are back ! As the World Cup enters its second week, the men of Philippe Clement resumed training on Monday morning at the Performance Center. After carrying out some classic tests back from vacation, the Red and Whites took part in the first recovery session, prior to their departure for training.
A Scene from Ten Days in Benidorm
Indeed, the teammates ofAlexander Golovin – elected MVP in November – will join Spain this Tuesday morning, to carry out a ten-day preparation there, with a view to the resumption of the French championship on December 28 in Auxerre (5 p.m.). Deprived of six Globalists, currently underway with their selections in Qatar, the pro group will be reinforced for the occasion by a few players from the Academy.
We are going to a four-week preparation with this ten-day stadium in Spain, which will include two friendly matches. It will not be the same preparation as before the season, because the physical base is higher today. We will be able to do more individual training in order to be ready as soon as we resume because a lot of matches are waiting for us.
On the recovery program
Four prep matches confirmed
With the line of sight, two friendly matches planned against the Bruges Circle, also in preparation on site, this Friday at 3 p.m., then against a Spanish team – whose identity remains to be confirmed – next Wednesday. A recovery stage, which will already be completed by two other meetings against the Italian teams of Empoli and Fiorentina, on December 16 and 17.
