Slovenian artist Miriam Ehler, who traveled to China several times, said that good memories and deep impressions of the country gave her a rich source for artistic creation.
“This year marks 30 years of diplomatic relations between China and Slovenia,” said Chinese Ambassador to Slovenia Wang Shunqing, adding that the two countries have strengthened cooperation in various fields over the past three decades, and more and more Slovenians have become interested in China. as well as their own language and culture.
“We should go beyond national borders and let exchanges and mutual learning between different civilizations become a driving force for the progress of human society and allow us to cooperate in maintaining world peace,” Wang said.
“I agree with the concept of ‘cultural exchange without borders’ and I want the exhibition to be a complete success,” said MP Rastko Vrečko.
The exhibition connected Austria, Slovenia and China, said the Austrian artist Gert Maria Hofmann, adding that he was looking forward to new opportunities to participate in such events in the future.
