WUM Kraków: With care for the little homeland. Decoration for the staroste of Nowy Sącz
By order of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, at the request of the Małopolska Voivode, Łuksz Kmita, Marek Kwiatkowski was awarded the Silver Cross of Merit for social and local government activities. The ceremony of honoring with a medal the second deputy voivode of Lesser Poland, Mateusz Małodziński, during the 34th Ordinary Session of the Nowy Sącz District Council of the 6th term of office.
– Action for the small homeland translates into the action of the entire state. Therefore, cooperation between central and local government administration is important. At the same time, I congratulate you on your exemplary local government activity, which today was awarded the Cross of Merit. I count on fruitful cooperation for the development of the region – says the second vice-voivode of Lesser Poland, Mateusz Małodziński
During the meeting, the following were discussed, among others: departments: educational tasks, obligatory for winter maintenance of poviat roads, approval of the financial plan, distribution of PFRON funds.

The Cross of Merit was established in 1923. A benefit is awarded that contributed to the benefit for the state or citizen, achieved deeds exceeding the scope of their quality, and received a benefit for the state or citizens.
