The transfer of the first migrants who have been in the Port of Palaiochora since Tuesday began at noon on Saturday Chania.
The first buses are already at the port of Palaiochora to transport the migrants from the ship Samaria, in which they were staying temporarily in the previous days, to the port of Souda in order to travel to Athens, according to zarpanews.

It is recalled that the ship was found there on Tuesday, when it was spotted sailing unruly in the sea area south of Paleochora. It had started from Libya and was bound for Italy and due to the gale force winds, the boat’s rudder broke causing it to signal for help via 112.
