Russia may bring in additional mobilized forces in the coming weeks
Analysts came to this conclusion based on the fact that mobilized units of the 2nd motorized rifle division of the 1st tank army of the Russian Federation completed training in the Brest region of Belarus.
“Russian forces are likely to continue using mobilized and redeployed servicemen to resume offensive operations in Donetsk region and hold defensive positions in Luhansk region,” the ISW report said.
The Russians are strengthening their position
Experts informed that the Russians are beginning to strengthen their position in the occupied territories of Luhansk, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions by personnel taken from Kherson region and mobilized.
With reference to the Ukrainian General Staff, the Institute for the Study of War writes about the increase in the number of Russian troops in Luhansk. The Russians accommodate the new arrivals in abandoned houses in Krasny and Simeykyny.
By the way, part of redeployed Russian soldiers happens in Novoaidar, which is located about 55 km east of Severodonetsk, as well as to Mariupol.
According to the mayor’s employee Petro Andryushchenko, the occupiers are housed there from 10 to 15 thousand military personnel.
“Andryushenko stated that the newly mobilized are turning to the western front line of the Donetsk region. on the basis of this, the Russian troops are trying to disperse forces by deploying some elements in the direction of Gulyaipol in the east of the Zaporizhzhia region,” the analysts add.
