Annecy – Laurent Guyot: “In difficult seasons, it’s important to have a competition that brings freshness”
This week-end, Annecy passes like 15 other clubs of League 2 in fashion French Cup. After defeating the Diables Noirs de Combani, the Annecy club moved to Lyon-Duchere (N2) Friday evening. “There are teams in National 2 which, with a few exceptions, two years ago, could end up in Ligue 2. It will be even worse in the weeks to come with all the descents. “ In difficult seasons, it’s important to have a competition that brings freshness. There, we play a team that plays below, but if we qualify we can play teams that are above. This represents motivation for players who are in the underdog role. But for that, we have to assume the role we have in this match, as a team that plays two divisions above. Hierarchy doesn’t mean much in cut. You have to be ready. If we are not at 100%, we will be in trouble. »
