With the “SSK Fit 4 Life” program, the Salzburger Sparkasse wins the health prize for workplace health promotion “my health – my company”. The speakers at the award ceremony discussed the subject of artificial intelligence in medicine.
SALZBURG. RegionalMedien Salzburg, together with Uniqa Salzburg and the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce, have awarded a prize to local companies that are committed to employee health. The award ceremony under the title “My health – my company” took place in the plenary hall of the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce.
And hat won:
The winner of the Health Prize 2022 is the Salzburger Sparkasse with the “SSK Fit 4 Life” program. Roland Böckl, Head of Human Resources at the Salzburger Sparkassespeaks of 80 percent participation by employees in the program, which ranges from exercise and nutrition to mental health.
Other nominated companies are:
- the BFI Salzburg for his workplace health promotion
- Arena slope management for “vital and fit on the mountain” from Wals-Siezenheim
These two companies also do an above-average amount for the valuable health of their employees. They too were honored at the award ceremony and received a gift basket with vouchers for the Uniqua vitality coaches.
This makes companies attractive to employees
“Healthy employees are the be-all and end-all of a successful company,” says Waltraud Rathgeb, State Director of the Salzburg Uniqa. “We support small and large companies in employee care because it makes more sense to invest in prevention than in caring for the sick.”
In the meantime, workplace health promotion is an important part of being attractive to employees as a company, says Peter GeneserVice President of the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce.

There were lectures and discussions exclusively for the participants of the award ceremony Jama Nateqithe founder of the company “Symptoma” and Wolfgang Sperl, Rector of the Paracelsus Medical Private University (PMU). They discuss artificial intelligence in medicine.
