Walk: from Angles to Villeneuve lez Avignon via the schoolchildren’s path

At the Tour des Mascs hiking sign in Les Angles, head towards Cacho-Pesou. Go behind the Tower and the bus shelter, ignore rue Jean-Jacques-Rousseau before turning left into rue du Sergent-Menassier. Cross rue Racine, cross the roundabout of the 2nd DB before coming out at the milestone of Cacho Pesou. Head towards the Hermitage. Turn right then left after the garages. Let yourself be guided by the effectiveness of the markup. Go up rue des Lardières. At its end, turn left for 300 meters before turning right into Chemin du Lozet. At the equestrian centre, turn right. At 51 rue du Lozet, turn left into chemin du Grand-Montagné. Facing the pine forest, go down to the right. Leave Rue Auguste-Renoir on the left. Stay well in line. Follow the cycle path. At the stop sign, get off in front of you. At the small roundabout, turn left into rue des Rocailles. Cross Boulevard Clémenceau. At the milestone of the Hermitage, follow Villeneuve. The paved road descends, intersects the avenue and continues opposite. Pass under the SNCF bridge, follow rue du Camp de Bataille. At the T-junction, turn right to pass in front of the Hôtel de Ville. At the corner of the collegiate church, turn right, pass in front of the priory. Just after school, take the car park on the left to climb the Mourgues hill. At the milestone of the Playground, go to the Théâtre de Verdure on the right. At the milestone, keep to the right to bypass the stadium. Go through the gate, turn right rue de la Monnaie and immediately left (no entry). Follow the markup. Go down the Chemin des Amandiers to the left to come out passing under the SNCF bridge at the milestone of the Old Aramon road. Follow the Angles (red-white). Always stay in line. After the small passage under the bridge, turn left. After 785 rue d’Aramon, turn right on the Montée du Valadas then, facing 26B, follow the Sentier des Plantes to the left. After the flight of steps, turn left to cross the old village of Les Angles and return to the starting point. Car park of the Tour des Mascs in Les Angles.

The painters trail
At the end of the 19th century, many naturalist painters set up their easels on the sensitive site of Les Angles. The path evokes the different places, chosen by the painters to compose their paintings, thanks to lava plates on which the masterpieces are reproduced.
Cosmos Park
The Parc du Cosmos is a scientific, cultural and educational activity park open to all, dedicated to the fascinating discovery of astronomy and space.
