Lisbon City Council allocates 200 houses to the Supported Lease Program – Observer
Two hundred houses, which are already being rehabilitated, will be concentrated in the Supported Lease Program (PAA) by the Lisbon City Council, with the first houses expected to be delivered later this year, according to the municipality.
“Having to wait for housing within the scope of list 20 of the PAA, the families of the most needy in the municipality will be able to receive in the coming months”reads in a communiqué from the Lisbon Chamber.
According to the municipality, the allocation of houses to citizens applying for the PPA took place on Friday, on the Habitar Lisboa platform, with “the delivery of houses expected to begin later this year”.
Of the houses available, the company is already in the process of rehabilitation by the management of the municipal housing, Gebalis, 28 are of T3 typology and 12 of T4 typology, in the case of “a set larger than the total affection since the beginning of the program ”, according to the Lisbon Chamber.
So far, it indicates 18 and three T4 were assigned, capacity assigned to T3 thus “increased response for size families”.
Cited in the statement, the councilor responsible for Housing, Filipa Roseta, emphasizes that this “is the biggest affectation that there is memory in Lisbon” and represents “the effort” that the Chamber is making to put the municipality’s fires to use. .
The Lisbon City Council adds, according to Gebalis, “the works on 25 homes are complete” and is expected to complete the works in about 100 by the end of 2022 and during the remainder in the first half of 2023.
On the other hand, a proposal is being prepared for a new edition of the Affordable Income Program (PRA) for low-income families who cannot obtain a home through the PAA, nor through the normal PRA. For this new program, 50 houses have already been isolated, the statement reads.
The Lisbon City Council, until September 2010, is still being democratically supported by 270, which was approved under an affordable income system about 250 proximity access systems.
