Halloween party: the prefect announces several bans in Toulouse and Haute-Garonne

Of the security measures were announced by the prefect of Haute-Garonne, Friday October 28, 2022, concerning the halloween party on the county territory.
Valid from Sunday
Etienne Guyot, prefect of Haute-Garonne, said he wanted to “protect the Halloween party as much as possible” October 30 and 31 and ward off all the trouble possible to public order”. It is in this sense that it has taken several measures, which will be valid from October 30, 2022, 2 p.m. Here is what will be prohibited :
- postage and transport, without legitimate reason, weapons hunting, ammunition and objects that may constitute a armed within the meaning of article 132-75 of the penal code;
- transfer, sale, transport and use of dangerous, flammable products we chemicals, of products explosives, fireworks entertainment, smoke bombs and of firecrackers of all categories, except for professional reasons;
- the purchase and retail sale, removal or transportation of any fuel, by jerry cans, cubitainers, cans, flasks or various containers, with the exception of products called intended for the supply of individual heating appliances.
Note, of course, that the prohibition “does not apply to declared pyrotechnic goggles within the deadlines set and drawn by titular pyrotechnicians a valid certificate of qualification”.
All municipalities in the department
The prefect specifies, at the same time, that these measures, which will last until 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2022, are valid ” in all municipalities of the department of Haute-Garonne”.
