Toulouse: discover the new games invented by the creators of “Blanc manger coco”
The creators of the “Blanc manger coco” aperitif card game, one of which is from Toulouse, continue to ride on success with new games. They collaborated with another duo of inventors to release three versions of a game called “No Mercy”.
Since 2014, the release date of the first board game from the now huge firm ” White Eat Coco “, the two creators, Louis Roudaut and Thibault Lourcy, originally from Toulouse, have come a long way. The numbers give the spin. More than three million boxes sold in eight countries around the world and a seemingly limitless success. The duo, friends in life and associates at work have collaborated with Ben & JB, two other “Juduku” board game creators to launch the “No Mercy, the naughty party game for nice people” line of games. All is said. This short description translates quite well the universe of this card game where the concept looks like to be mistaken to that of “Blanc manger coco”. Here again scathing humor and obligatory second degree. Side rules of the game: “there is a theme, the players have answer cards in hand and the game master must choose the worst or the best, finally, the one that is the funniest”, details one of the creators, Louis full-time now with Thibault in the company that creates board games.
Fans of the famous “Blanc manger coco” will see the signature of the two inventors and the mark of the creators of the Juduku games. After the publication of the first two versions, the latest release to date: the family formula. “The first two boxes are really trash humor, like some conversations between friends in the evenings, we wanted to create a version for young audiences”, further details Louis.
6th installment
Driven by success, Thibault, the native of Toulouse and his Breton friend also continues to work on the “Blanc manger coco” range with the release of their 6th opus called “la guerre des sexes”. “In this one, we explore on the one hand the feminine universe in its subtleties and of course in its stereotypes and on the other the universe and the men’s frame of reference”, sums up one of the creators.
And as happiness never comes alone, a newborn should see the light of day within the next few weeks: “Mister coco”. “There we keep the same identity with the same little guys but not at all the same rules of the game”, slips, without breaking the suspense, a member of the duo. The entrepreneurs have more than one trick up their sleeves and have been working for several weeks on the release of their first 100% family game, “a clever mix between a Scrabble and a Uno”. Expected release in 2023.
