Educational kits have been designed and produced for schools, with the volunteer extracurricular agents of the city from Annecy (Savoy), supervised by a trainer from the association “A green mouse”. They are the initiative of Udapei 74 and Aapei Epanou, in partnership with the municipality and Harmonie Mutuel. They aim to “promote the inclusion of children with disabilities in nurseries and nursery and elementary schools in Annecy, while making other children aware of the difference”, according to information from the town hall.
They are available free of charge.
Briefcases containing tools and useful games, appeasement and awareness of emotions such as a tent to isolate the child, fidgets (small objects to handle that provide tactile well-being and help release tension), a doll with Down syndrome, a kamishibai (image theatre)…
The kits are made available free of charge to directors of crèches, directors and teachers of schools in Annecy for a minimum of three months.
