Two blows for Baticle before Monaco
Three days before a trip to Monaco, the coach of Angers SCOGérald Baticle, should face two major absences.
Angers SCO: Doumbia and Boufal have almost forfeited against Monaco
Last in the championship with only 8 points in 12 Ligue 1 days, Lesco is struggling at the start of the season. This Sunday, the men of Gerald Baticle move to AS Monaco and will most certainly be deprived of their left side Souleyman Doumbia, still injured in the ankle, who did not take part in the training session. Another bad news for the Angevins, Sofiane Boufal stayed in care today and did not train with his teammates. It is therefore a reduced Angevin formation which should go to Monaco on Sunday.
In the midst of a crisis in the league, the Angers SCO is the worst defense in the elite, and when you know the attacking quality of the Monegasque team, going to ASM with one player less in defense is detrimental to Gérald Baticle. The day tomorrow will certainly be determined regarding these two potential packages for the SCO.
Angers SCO: The calendar is tough until the truce
The Angevins will not be spoiled for their last three games before the World Cup. In addition to the trip to Louis-II this Sunday, Gerald Baticle’s players then receive RC Lens next week, before ending with a trip to Lille on November 13 at the Pierre-Mauroy stadium. A more than delicate sequence for Angers SCO which seems to be at the bottom of the hole for several weeks.
The success is not present on the Angevin side either, who performed well against Stade Rennais last Sunday, but who conceded a penalty in the last seconds which allowed the SRFC to win at Stade Raymond-Kopa. Angers SCO now finds itself in the obligation to make a result in Monaco this Sunday at 3 p.m.
