Slovakia has been hit by sharp price increases: Look how much prices have risen in a single year
Of plant products, the prices of cereals increased by 64.4% and of oleaginous fruits and seeds by 41.5%. From animal products, the prices of raw cow’s milk rose by 36.2%. Since the beginning, prices of agricultural products have increased by an average of 36.2% due to higher prices of plant products by 48.3% and higher prices of animal products by 16.6%.
Consumer prices of table eggs will increase before Christmas
Prices of industrial producers were higher by 61.8%
The prices of industrial producers for the domestic market were 61.8% higher year-on-year in September 2022. Overall development in the industry, including especially extraordinary growth in supply and gas by 136%, in the production of petroleum products by 74.3% and in food production by 30.5%. The Statistical Office (ŠÚ) of the Slovak Republic informed about it.
The three most important pressures by weight recorded the following increase in prices – the production of means of transport by 6.1%, the production of metals and metal structures by 9.7% and the production of rubber and plastics by 16.3%. The monthly prices of industrial producers in the country rose by 8.8%. Overall, since the beginning of the year, prices in this sector have risen by 43.3% year-on-year.
The prices of construction works increased by 17.5%
The prices of construction works increased by 17.5% year-on-year in September 2022, compared to August of this year they were higher by 1.7%. Overall, construction work increased by 17.8% in the nine months of 2022. The prices of materials used in construction increased by 21.9% year-on-year, compared to August 2022 they were higher by 4.2%. In summary, since the beginning of the year, year-on-year growth has reached 25.9%.
