two satellites made in Toulouse sent to French Guiana
From Toulouse to Kouru. The last two satellites Pleiades Neo integrated, kept and used by Airbus arrived this Monday, October 24 at the Center spatial European of Kourou, in French Guiana. They made a transatlantic flight from Toulouse where they were largely designed and manufactured over the past few years.

New generation satellites
Scheduled to be launched at the end of November as part of the first commercial mission of the European Vega C rocket, the Pléiades Neo 5 and 6 satellites fromAirbus will be added to a constellation comprising a total of four satellites with a resolution of 30 cm.
“We are about to complete our brand new generation of satellites, which already covers one million km² per day with a native resolution of 30 cm,” said François Lombard, director of intelligence activity at Airbus Defense and Space.

Two satellites soon to be launched
Since their launch, in April and August 2021 respectively, the Pléiades Neo 3 and 4 satellites have been collecting images posted on OneAtlas, the Airbus digital platform. Namely that OneAtlas gives customers simple and immediate access to both archive images, in-depth analyzes and the possibility of programming new images taken by satellites. Finally, the Pléiades Neo 5 and 6 satellites fromAirbus should be launched at the end of November from the European Space Center in Kourou.
