Geneva – train 6:1
3 games, 0 points, 4:17 goals: The clubs from Léman are not ahead of Meister Zug this season. In Geneva, the Tangnes team was beaten 6-1 after having clearly lost the first comparison with the “Eagle” and in Lausanne. After 35 minutes and goals from Linus Omark, Marc-Antoine Pouliot (2), Deniss Smirnovs and Valterri Filppula, the game was over. Samuel Kreis spoiled Gauthier Descloux’s first shutout of the season. Geneva recovered from the last two defeats and confirmed the top of the table.
ZSC Lions – Lugano 6: 3
Zurich remain undefeated in the new stadium. Simon Bodenmann, Sven Andrighetto and Jérôme Bachofner made the decision against Lugano in the final third within 3:02 minutes and thus the 3rd home win in Altstetten. For Luca Gianinazzi it was the 5th defeat in the 7th game against the Tessiner gang.
Bern – Biel 2:3
The SCB also lost the 2nd season derby against the Seeländer. After Thierry Bader’s 2:3 ten minutes before the end, the home crowd drew hope, but Biel keeper Harri Säteri could not be defeated. Gaëtan Haas advanced to become the match winner with his remarkable backhand goal in the 35th minute. For Biel it was already the 7th victory in a row.
Davos – Ambri 3:1
Thanks to the 3rd sense of achievement in a row, Davos moved up to 4th place. However, the decision against stubborn Leventine only came 70 seconds before the third siren, when Enzo Corvi defeated Ambri keeper Janne Juvonen to make it 2-1. Before that he had failed with a penalty on the Finn. Matej Stransky’s Empty-Netter 25 seconds before the end was an encore.
Ajoie – SCL Tigers 1:4
The Tigers got revenge for the 4-1 home loss to the Jurassic a month ago with the same result. The Emmentalers pulled away by three lengths in the first third. Man of the evening was triple goalscorer Marc Michaelis. In addition, Sami Lepistö scored for the guests. Ajoie couldn’t do more than improve the result (29th) by Guillaume Asselins. The Tigers consolidated their 10th place in the table.
Lakers – Friborg 0:2
In the subsequent duel, Raphael Diaz intercepted a cross pass from Rapperswil after 11 minutes and defeated Melvin Nyffeler via the post. The 1-0 for the Saanestadt team was to remain the only goal in a hard-fought game for a long time – also because Jordan Schröder (shot at the post) and Nico Dünner (three minutes before the end) missed the Lakers’ chances of winning a point. Christoph Bertschy decided the party with Empty Netter, among other things. Freiburg advances to third place at the expense of the opponent.
