Price rises for existing owner-occupied homes are leveling off in all provinces
The price increase of existing owner-occupied homes in the Netherlands amounted to 1 . in the third quarter of 20221.9 prEast. That was a quarter earlier 18.4 prEast. The price increase leveled off in all provinces. For all provinces, except for Drenthe, this was the second quarter in a row. Met 13.4 procents, the price increase was greatest in Flevoland and Gelderland. The smallest was the price increase in Limburg, with 9.6 percentgraft. In more than half of the provinces, the price increase was greater than the average in the Netherlands.

Decrease in housing transactions smaller
The number of existing owner-occupied homes that changed hands in the third quarter of 2022 consumes 50,453. That was 6.4 processgraft less than a year earlier. In the second quarter, the decrease compared to a year earlier was more than 10 percentgraft. In all provinces, the number of housing transactions was lower than one year previously. Only in Flevoland, Utrecht and South Holland was the year-on-year decline greater than in the previous quarter.
More housing transactions in Utrecht and Amsterdam
In addition to the provinces and the Netherlands in total, more homes changed hands in Utrecht and Amsterdam in the third quarter of 2022 than in the same quarter a year earlier. Furthermore, the decline in the number of transactions in Rotterdam was a lot smaller than gold for all of the Netherlands. The decline in the number of housing transactions in The Hague was greater than average.
In the four largest cities in the Netherlands, the price increase of existing owner-occupied homes was smaller than the average in the Netherlands (11.9 processent). Of the four cities, Rotterdam had met 10.9 perthe largest price increase.

house price rises again largest
Prices of all types of housing also leveled off. Met 13.7 percentent the price increase of detached houses was the largest. The apartments had 9.7 procent the smallest price increase in the third quarter of 2022.
The number of housing transactions for all types of housing was lower than one year previously. The decrease was limited for terraced houses. Detached houses did not record the largest decline in the number of housing transactions.
