Exhibition “Toulouse the brilliance of a southern Gothic” at the Cluny museum
Synthesizing recent research, the exhibition “Toulouse, 1300-1400: the brilliance of a southern Gothic” which has just opened at the Cluny museum – national museum of the Middle Ages, in Paris, draws up an unprecedented inventory of creation in Toulouse in the 14th century.
It benefits from an exceptional loan from the Musée des Augustins in Toulouse. The Toulouse Museum of Fine Arts lends 15 masterpieces which constitute the heart of the exhibitionalongside other prestigious loans from the museums of Pamplona, the Vatican Library, the Louvre Museum or major Parisian libraries…
It is curated by Béatrice de Chancel-Bardelot, general curator at the Musée de Cluny, and Charlotte Riou, curator at the Musée des Augustins in Toulouse.
