At autumn time, nothing is more comforting than enjoying our Riviera like vacationers on a sunny or even rainy Sunday. A privilege that the people of the Côte d’Azur enjoy when the beautiful season, like the Indian summer, continues again and again.
And for hotels, it’s a card to play to retain local customers and offer the best. They too are extending the high season before the inevitable trough at the end of autumn. A weekend without baggage or passport? Overview of the offers to make you crave for.
Every Sunday from October 16 and until April 30, 2023, Sundays are brunched with Yannick Alleno. Parisian style, at the most popular counter in Monaco – Le Pavyllon. Here is a novelty which completes the offer of the restaurant which has continued its success since the arrival of the starred Parisian chef. On the menu: pastries, gourmet spreads and fresh fruit juice. But also new recipes, such as the original “goodwich”, a hot gougère accompanied by ham from Paris, creative eggs and dishes imagined by Yannick Alléno. For those cravings for sweets, the choice of desserts or the souffléed crepe with Grand Marnier while enjoying a tea.
And for parents or grandparents who would like to chat a bit without the children’s indiscreet ears, the kids club is there, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Jardin d’Hiver lounge with its supervised activities (Lego, puzzles, drawings , video games,…)

Monte-Carlo establishments seem to have given themselves the word to launch brunches on the same Sunday! At the Fairmont, Sunday appointments started on October 16 and childcare is even offered. But each one stands out with its own strengths.
The Fairmont puts on the jazz piano. And thus reconnects with an old tradition of the establishment; the very one who carried her reputation well beyond the Monegasque borders with the late pianist Wladimir Ferrari who died last year in Monaco at the age of 95.
With the jazz notes, brunch will be served from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

And to make tea time less traditional, several options are available. The most chic: the one at 250 euros which adds a glass of vintage champagne at your discretion and a 20g box of French caviar per person to the selection of Damman Frères teas or other hot drinks, in addition to savory fingers, pastries and a pot of honey beehives at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo.
The most extensive: the one at 200 euros which will buy tea and sweets for an hour of massage at the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo.
More classic, the two formulas at 55 euros with teas, savory fingers and pastries and at 70 euros which complement tea time with a glass of champagne.
And whatever the formula, music is for everyone. Cécile Bonhomme is at the harp every weekend.
Note that, for children, from 6 to 12 years old, the price is 30 euros with three snacks and a drink (hot drink, or fruit juice or soda). (Free for children under 6 years old.
