Toulouse. The Gonin’Boys blow out their 35 candles
Last Saturday, the Gonin’Boys field was in turmoil for this leisure rugby association from Montaudran which, in the adjoining gymnasium, celebrated its 35th anniversary around the office and the hundred or so members and their families. In the room, the friendship pot quickly turned into a giant aperitif where memories merged into conversations. Jean-Louis, one of the founding members, indulged in a few confidences: “The goal of the association is to stay in shape around the oval ball and its values. Here, it’s camaraderie above all and our philosophy remains to integrate families by organizing weekends with outings to the ocean, the Mediterranean and even in the mountains.Since the celebration of 20 years in 2007, we have witnessed a large renewal of members and a rejuvenation, drug addict executives step back but remain within the association.”
Direction Rome in February
And Jean-louis continues: “We try to continue our little rugby trips to Europe every two years. After the Balearic Islands, Greece and Portugal, Rome will be our future home port in February 2023 for discover the Eternal City and attend Italy-France as part of the Six Nations Tournament.” More beautiful and good times in perspective for the Gonin’Boys.
