Vincent Terrail-Novès elected 1st vice-president of Toulouse Métropole
The mayor of Balma, Vincent Terrail-Novès, was elected first vice-president of Toulouse Métropole this Thursday, October 20 during a session of the Conseil de la Métropole. He replaces Dominique Faure, appointed to the government as Secretary of State in charge of Rurality, who resigned in application of the law on the non-cumulation of mandates.
During the meeting of the Board of Toulouse metropolis which took place this Thursday, October 20 at the Pierre Baudis congress centre, the mayor of Balma Vincent Terrail-Novès was elected first vice-president of Toulouse Métropole and member of the Metropolitan Office. He replaces Dominique Faure. The latter has effectively resigned from her duties as first vice-president of the Metropolis in application of the law prohibiting the plurality of mandates. The former mayor of Saint-Orens-de-Gameville joined the government as Secretary of State for Rural Affairs.
During the same Council, Serge Jop, mayor of Saint-Orens-de-Gameville since July following the departure of Dominique Faure also, was elected third vice-president of Toulouse Métropole. He replaces, for his part, Vincent Terrail-Novès. The president of the community Jean-Luc Moudenc “will entrust him with a delegation dedicated to inter-municipal dialogue”, explains Toulouse Métropole in a press release.

Following the election of the mayor of Balma as first vice-president of the Métropole, Jean-Luc Moudenc is “delighted to be able to work even more closely with Vincent Terrail-Novès”, whose commitment he has known “for a long time to our territory”.
“He will assist me effectively within the framework of a harmonious governance of our Métropole, alongside other partner groups in the exercise of executive functions, for metropolitan development combined with a better quality of life for the inhabitants”, concluded the President of Toulouse Métropole.
