Movie theater. Yuku and the flower of the Himalayas, a pretty initiatory tale singing at the cinema
Yuku, a young mouse who lives in a castle with all her little ones, goes in search of a Himalayan flower to soothe her grandmother, who is getting older and tired. It’s off on an initiatory journey full of dangers but where Yuku will also make many friends.
The tone is very soft, with beautiful colors, in a fluid animation without being hectic. Not to mention the many songs that pleasantly dot this walk performed by the Franco-Belgian Arnaud Demuynck, with Rémi Durin.

This film also makes it possible to approach the theme of mourning, here of the grandmother, without it being traumatic or tearful.
For the adults who will accompany the young spectators (from an early age), there is also the pleasure of recognizing speaking and singing voices : Agnès Jaoui for the vixen, Tom Novembre for the wolf and, the most moving, that of Arno for the rat who is afraid of death.
