Tunisia will participate in the international handicraft fair in Milan
Tunisia will participate in the international crafts fair “Artigiano in Fiera” to be held from December 3 to 11, 2022, in Milan (Italy), announced the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts.
During a coordination working session held on Monday in Tunis, the Minister of Tourism, Mohamed Moez Belhassine, indicated that the fair will help to further open European and Arab markets to traditional Tunisian products.
He stressed, according to a press release published by the tourism department, the importance of Tunisian participation in this international event which attracts more than a million visitors in addition to the presence of various media, in order to promote the Tunisian destination, enhance the craft sector and market products with high added value.
It is also an opportunity for artisans to present their creations and share their experiences with different participants.
Belhassine, evoked, on this occasion, the interest shown by his department to offer all the necessary conditions for the success of the Tunisian participation in this fair, and this, in cooperation with the various intervening structures, while calling to succeed to a maximum effort to prepare for it.
Took part in this meeting, the organizer of the Italian exhibition, Antonio Ingliatti, the Directors General of the National Office of Handicrafts (ONA), the Tunisian National Tourist Office (ONTT) and the President of the Federation National Crafts.
