Sophrology for pregnant women
Is sophrology beneficial for pregnant women? Explanations with Ingrid Ferret.
Prenatal sophrology
This will allow the mother to experience her pregnancy and childbirth more serenely. Through breathing exercises, relaxation or targeted visualization.
The sessions allow you to better prepare for the baby’s arrival and to be more serene by learning to manage your breathing or to optimize your muscle relaxation.
But also to better manage the emotions related to this pregnancy such as stress or anxieties.
At what time of pregnancy?
Ingrid Ferret explains the benefits of sophrology on the three trimesters.
In the first trimester, a woman’s body changes a lot. It helps to better manage nausea, headaches but also hormonal upheavals.
For the second trimester, sophrology allows you to connect with your baby and create a bond before birth with visualization exercises for example.
Finally for the last trimester, it allows you to prepare well for D-Day, to better control contractions and to accompany your baby.
