Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, a return in road racing after the Paris 2024 Olympics?
While it seems clear that she won’t be back on the road before Paris 2024, a possibility of a “comeback” after this date seems possible. The 30-year-old Frenchwoman recently said that the development of women’s road cycling, with new races like the Tour de France Women with Zwiftcould bring her back. “Why not, come back to road racing, but not for now, that’s for sure. When I watch the Tour de France, and these big races, of course I want to be part of it, but maybe more late. Now I just want to focus on my dream, and with the Olympics at home I think it’s a good chance.”

The nice shot of Ineos Grenadiers … with Pauline Ferrand-Prévot
You have to admit, it’s a nice move on the part of the INEOS Grenadiers to have signed Pauline Ferrand-Prevot on a two-year deal from 2023, supporting the 30-year-old Frenchwoman’s goal of winning gold at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. The quadruple world champion is the latest reinforcement in the team of multidisciplinary athletes who run for the INEOS Grenadiers. The confirmation of the off-road star’s signing comes after a record-breaking 2022 season for Paulina where she won the MTB World Championships in short track, cross country and marathon, as well as the first UCI Gravel World Championships. Having also held rainbow jerseys in road cycling and cyclo-cross as well as mountain biking, she is one of the most decorated cyclists of all time.
