Why a demonstration?
As a reminder, this national strike movement brings with it several demands. The inter-union calls in particular for an increase in wages, pensions and social minima in the face of inflation which continues to climb. Shortly before 12:30 p.m., the Rectorate revealed the rate of participation in the strike movement. According to the Toulouse Academy, it is 3.49% in the 1st degree, 13.23% in the 2nd degree, 8.49% in colleges, 8.55% in general education high schools and technology (LEGT), and 32.38% in vocational high schools. The overall weighted average is 8.07%. This therefore concerns the departments of Haute-Garonne, Aveyron, Ariège, Gers, Lot, Hautes-Pyrénées, Tarn and Tarn-et-Garonne.
