Airbus. This Beluga left Toulouse to deliver an incredible cargo to America

It is an event. Friday, October 14, 2022, un Airbus Beluga STpart of Toulouselanded on American soil, at Sanford airport inOrlando (Florida). A first since 2009 and the transport of “Tranquility”, a European module for the International Space Station.
The next day, this imposing device joined the Cape Canaveral Kennedy Space Center to accomplish its special mission: the delivery of the satellite HOTBIRD 13Gintegrated by Airbus for Eutelsat.
Satellites useful to 135 million people
This satellite will soon join its twin, HOTBIRD 13F, a device that has just been launched thanks to a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
When they reach their orbital position, these two satellites will be able to broadcast more than 1,000 television channels in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. “They must also provide Eutelsat’s ability to provide connectivity to more than 135 million people, as they replace three Eutelsat satellites currently in orbit,” adds Airbus.
Note that to make the trip between Toulouse and the United States, the Beluga used 30% sustainable fuel.
