In two days 5 arrests in Florence, a pusher from the Cascine was also caught
Sweepstakes checks by the Florence Police: last weekend the people identified during the orders in the province by the police commissioner Maurizio Auriemma are beyond a control.
Plainclothes agents and a truck of the Flying Squad joined the patrols in charge of controlling the territory to ensure safety: among the priorities of the activity, also the capillary work of the “Squadra Catturandi”, engaged in the field to track down the wanted people, since in due to justice.
In fact, during the last week the State Police captured 4 “wanted”, on whom several different prison orders had been pending for days.
The agents of the Catturandi of the Flying Squad walked the Florentine streets for 48 hours uninterrupted, tracing them hand by hand, in the most disparate places, before accompanying them all to the Florentine prison of Sollicciano.
The first is a 30-year-old Somali citizen, found guilty of robbery with injuries and therefore sentenced to 3 years in prison.
The same sentence to be served also for a 47-year-old Peruvian citizen on whom hung a pile of penalties for mistreatment in the family, resistance to a Public Official and driving under the influence of alcohol.
The gates of Sollicciano are then opened for two Albanian citizens aged 32 and 37, both sentenced to 5 years for a robbery in competition. One of the two was stopped while he was going to the Immigration Office of the Police Headquarters to regularize his position on the national territory.
Among the wanted people, the Flying Squad finally tracked down a 22-year-old citizen of Gambia. After being caught in handcuffs last June, as he was caught selling drugs in the Cascine, the Court of Florence had arrested him and, pending trial, ordered the precautionary measure of the “no residence” in the municipality of Florence. .
But during the checks, at the beginning of October, the 22-year-old was again tracked down by the flying squads in the Cascine park.
As expected in these situations, the Police Headquarters immediately reported the matter to the Judicial Authority.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office consequently requested and obtained from the Court the so-called aggravation of the precautionary measure of the residence ban, obviously considering the latter not suitable for the situation found by the State Police.
In recent days, the young man had therefore also become wanted by the police forces, as he was assigned, this time, the measure in place of pre-trial detention in prison.
The investigators of via Zara went without fail: they surprised him once again near the largest and best-known Florentine park.
