Toulouse: The police want to refuel
The Alliance union is asking that the police be able to fill their tanks.
The national police are part of the rescue and care services authorized to refuel at certain service stations. The police themselves do not. What annoy the Alliance union by the voice of its administrative secretary, Franck Dépétris. “Police cannot refuel their clean vehicles at these very stations to go to work.” He analyzes: “It will be complicated to use service vehicles to go on interventions, if the police officers themselves cannot join their service”.
Risk of running out of fuel
Armed with their police cards, some officials naturally went to stations sure to be within their rights. They were not admitted.
Faced with the evidence and the risk of running out of gas for many national police officers, many of whom do not live near Toulouse, the union “simply asks that police officers capable of refueling their personal vehicles at these stations assigned to rescue and medical services”.
