Thessaloniki: Gang “emptied” cars and shops for years – VIDEO
Videos showing gang members repeatedly robbing shops in Thessaloniki have come to light.
As can be seen in a video recorded by the closed security circuit of a gas station and secured by ethnos.gr, on June 19, 2020, just before 4 am, a car arrives at a gas station.
The two attackers, wearing hoods, medical gloves and coronavirus masks to cover their features, initially bricked the store’s entrance using burglary tools.
Then they run to the cash register of the gas station and try to grab as much as they can in a few seconds. Suddenly thick smoke, probably from the fire extinguishing system spoils their plans and they run fast to escape.
Another video presented by ethnos.gr shows a burglary in a gambling shop that took place in Kalamaria, in which one of the two perpetrators participated. He had then traveled in a stolen car from the same area, leaked through the main door and removed 150 euros from the cash register.
