Shortage of fuels. The list of “priority” professions further expanded in Toulouse in Haute-Garonne

While fuel shortage is still relevant in the department of Haute-Garonne, the prefect Etienne Guyot has decided further expand the list of so-called “priority” professions. These professionals have access to service stations reserved for them at certain times, in order to refuel in petrol or diesel.
An expanded list
In a press release sent on the evening of Friday October 14, 2022, the Haute-Garonne prefecture indicates that “from now on, the list of these so-called “priority” professions is again extended, and the number of gas stations integrated in this device now increases to 16 stations (i.e. 5 additional stations).

Vehicles of road managers intervening on accidents
Health emergency vehicles (transport of EFS blood and organs, transport of biological samples

Air traffic controllers
Health veterinarians
“It is up to these users to prove their belonging to one of these categories by producing a professional card or a certificate from their employer”, it is specified.
Total stations incorporate the device
In addition, 16 service stations are now integrated into the system.
Here is the list of the 11 stations already integrated in the device:
- Leclerc in Saint-Orens-de-Gameville, from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. No service on Sunday.
- Leclerc in Rouffiac-Tolosan, from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. No service on Sunday.
- Leclerc in Villemur-sur-Tarn from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. No service on Sunday.
- Leclerc to Estancarbonfrom 6 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- Carrefour in Toulouse-Purpan, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. No service on Sunday.
- Carrefour in Labege, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- Crossroads in Portet sur Garonne, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. No service on Sunday.
- Carrefour Market in Montrejeau, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Here is the list of the 5 stations that incorporate the device:
- Total Relais Le Mirail Toulouse : from October 15 in the evening; 6am-8am and 8pm-10pm.
- Total Relais Guerin Muret : from October 15 in the evening; 6am-8am and 8pm-10pm.
- Total Energies L’Isle en Dodon : as of October 15; 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays. Saturday and Sunday: 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
- Total Relais Saint-Gaudens East : from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Total Relais Switzerland Toulouse : from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The list could still be expanded
“The list of priority vehicles and users as well as that of service stations participating in this system could be extended according to the evolution of the situation“, adds the prefect, who “appeals to good citizenship and everyone’s responsibility, asks to respect the supply priorities which are fixed and recalls that preventive fuel purchases are detrimental to the proper functioning of service stations “.
“The police will oversee the prioritization operations to ensure their smooth running,” he added.
In addition, “in order to limit the phenomenon of fuel storage and to allow the greatest number of motorists to refuel”, the prefect of Haute-Garonne indicated that he had extended “the ban on the sale and purchase of fuel packaged in cansfrom now until Friday October 21 inclusive”.
