Due to seasonal epidemics, the children’s emergency room at the Toulouse University Hospital is currently experiencing high activity. For this weekend and to avoid waiting, it is advisable not to go directly to the pediatric emergency room except in the event of a life-threatening emergency.
Due to an upsurge in seasonal epidemics, the pediatric emergencies of the University Hospital Center (CHU) of Toulouse, at the Children’s Hospital, are experiencing particularly strong activity. In this context, the Toulouse University Hospital would like to remind you of good practices if your child is sick.
- Consult without delay: contact your GP or the child’s pediatrician or the hospitals closest to your home if you do not live in Haute-Garonne. On-call medical centers provide consultations in several areas of Haute-Garonne. In Toulouse, you can go to the La Grave medical care center (Cité de la Santé, place Lange, metro Saint-Cyprien République, Tel 05 61 59 22 12) every evening from 8 p.m. noon to midnight, Sunday and public holidays from 8 a.m. to midnight or the La Faourette medical center (Tel 05 34 46 54 76) every evening from 8 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from 2 p.m. to midnight and Sunday and public holidays from 9 a.m. to midnight.
