a train hit a car, at least one dead and one injured
Traffic disrupted this Friday morning in Toulouse. Around 7:30 a.m. on October 14, a form a rammed a vehicle. The collision took place on a level crossing of the Montrabé/Toulouse line. Firefighters are currently working on Chemin de Gabardie in Toulouse. One person was killed in the crash.
The Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Haute-Garonne (SDIS 31) specifies that the victim was “found below”. This is the occupant of the struck vehicle. In addition, research is still underway to find a possible second victim. A canine team is deployed.
An injured passenger
In the train which carried 134 passengers, a user was slightly injured and taken care of by an ambulance. Nearly thirty firefighters are on site.
For its part, the SNCF indicates that the traffic is interrupted between Toulouse and Saint-Sulpice. Buses departing from Matabiau and Saint-Sulpice station were to be set up. The SNCF announces a resumption of traffic at the end of the morning. On the traffic side, it was closed by the police, also on the spot.
