Threats to Amalia ‘are proof that the Netherlands is a narco state’
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima reported on Thursday during the press moment of their state visit to Sweden that the attack against their daughter has ‘enormous consequences’ for her life. “She doesn’t leave the house. That means she doesn’t live in Amsterdam, and she can’t really go outside either.”
Mid-September already came via The Telegraph out that security has arisen around the princess. The drug mafia might be preparing an attack on her from Rutte.
“This reflects on all of us. The royal family is a symbol of the Netherlands,” says former royal family reporter Jan-Kees Emmer in OP1. “This is not good for our reputation abroad and proof that we have become a narco-state.”

Princess #Amalia can’t really go outside anymore, because of the threats. Royaltywatcher @jkmr: “This reflects on all of us. Amalia did not choose this and is now stuck in the house. These are consequences of the fact that we apparently have a #narcostat to be.” #On 1 pic.twitter.com/xrFeOP6W5V

Organized crime
“The suspicion is that the crime comes from the organized,” says court reporter van The Telegraph Saskia Belleman. “You don’t know when this will end, when Amalia can go back to normal life.” Emmer adds: “For an heir to the throne, student life is the only time to get to know society. That is now taken from her.”
