The new Future Branch of Eurobank in Thessaloniki
Investing more than 200 million euros in the last three years in technology projects and guided by a philosophy of innovation and pioneering, Eurobank created Future branches, or new generation stores that incorporate the Phygital model.
Future branches, the Bank’s new generation of branches, reflect the new, direct and personalized way of service. In the new era stores, traditional counters are abolished, interactive service bars facilitate simple transactions, while in the special reception area customers can be informed about products and services through user-friendly screens. The future branches were created and operate naturally with absolute respect for the environment. The implementation of digital media eliminates paper information material, while electronic signature and digital registration minimizes the printing of bank documents.
The management of Eurobank inaugurated its new store on Tsimiski Street in Thessaloniki, designed and designed based on the Phygital philosophy. The first Phygital stores in Athens (Voukourestiu Street and Korai Street) opened their doors to the public in November 2021 and, gradually, the new store model is expanding geographically.

With these investments, Eurobank remains next to the customer 24/7 with the services it offers always and everywhere through its digital channels. The service is provided quickly and efficiently using m-Banking and e-Banking tools, while human contact continues to be at the heart of Eurobank’s operation with its specialized staff staying next to the customer with the aim of meeting all their needs. Modern solutions, such as the Eurobank mobile app, through which the Bank’s customers can carry out 1,200 smart transactions, contactless transactions via apple pay and google pay, the Eurobank Smart POS application, which turns the company’s mobile into a POS, are available of customers. A special mention deserves the innovative v-Banking service, which Eurobank first introduced to the Greek market with great impact and with which 40,000 small and medium-sized businesses are already served, significantly facilitating the e-financing that becomes possible for business and housing products.
