Bilbao debuts in the world of dog parades
More than twenty dogs have come to the center of the town, where they have offered an original show
The BilbaoCentro association wants to encourage the adoption of pets and value local premises that have them at the center of their activity. Thus, this afternoon, Indautxu street has become a canine catwalk, through which more than twenty dogs of different breeds and sizes have paraded to collaborate with the organization ‘Galgo Leku’, which is dedicated to rescuing this breed and find them a new home.
A parade of the sea of singular with which BilbaoCentro wants to join its traditional parade of people, an initiative focused on the pets of the house. But it is not a competition to see which dog performs best, but rather to highlight the importance of veterinary clinics, clothing and animal feed stores or dog grooming salons, among other places.
At the end, all participants have received a prize in the form of a product sold by this type of establishment. The parade has had a very varied audience in age who have enjoyed the scene and have even shown their amazement at more than one specimen.
