On Wednesday, October 12, a regular meeting was held, during which federal museums presented a plan for exhibition activities for 2023. Alla Manilova, Secretary of State, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, chaired the meeting.
– The Ministry of Culture of Russia has decided to accept listeners of presentations of exhibition activities of subordinate museums. “In our opinion, this is a large collection of large gatherings, on some targeted areas of focusing the attention and efforts of our large cultural organizations,” Alla Manilova noted.
The State Russian Museum opened 29 issues in 2023. Evgenia Petrova, Deputy General Director for Research, spoke about this. the main project will be an exhibition dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the birth of Vasily Surikov. It will feature about 100 pictorial and graphic muscles. The exposition will also be presented at the Krasnoyarsk Art Museum named after V. I. Surikov.
In January 2023, the museum opens the exhibition “Home and Family” – it includes about 120 cases of the disease on the theme of the family hearth. The monograph of the exhibition by Valentin Serov is shown by the Russian Museum in Naberezhnye Chelny and Irkutsk. About 300 works from the Russian Museum, the State Historical Museum, the State Museum Reserve “Peterhof”, the State Hermitage and other collections will be included in the exhibition “From Peter I to Elizabeth Petrovna. The Moscow Kremlin Museums are preparing eight exhibitions in 2023, including three exhibitions taking place in the Far East, a number of exhibits that will leave for the regions will be shown for the first time. According to her plan, the most significant project of the next year for the museum is an exhibition dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Nicholas Roerich. A number of exhibits connect the National Gallery of Armenia and the Museum of Russian Art in Yerevan. Such agreements were reached by the mass museum within the framework of the Days of Russian Culture in Armenia, which have been held in the republic since October 7.
Zelfira Tregulova said that in May 2023 a branch of the museum will take place in Samara. The first exhibition will be held in the Samara branch “To Taste and Color. Images of Food in Russian Art”, representing Russian art from the first half of the 19th century to the second half of the 20th century. In the future, it is planned to open an exhibition “Imaginary Space” in the branch. The Tretyakov Gallery also intends to send its works to an exhibition in seven cities of Russia. In particular, the project “In the city and in the countryside. Paintings of the second half of the 19th – early 20th centuries from the collection of Tretyakov painting” goes to Kursk and Orenburg, and the exhibition “Old Romance. Paintings of the 19th – early 20th centuries from the collection of Tretyakov art” will go to Novosibirsk.
