washed. A nice flavor of autumn with the Hazelnut Festival
On Sunday October 9, the town of Lavit came to life little by little and the stands under the hall proudly displayed hazelnuts and derivatives, as well as various regional products, such as garlic, wine, honey, almonds, walnuts and other local flavors. Several producers, including the Salvadori family, offered, apart from the traditional hazelnut, roasted or salted hazelnuts, flour and oils, as well as other marvels for the pleasure of the palate. In this rural atmosphere, a small train circulated in the streets and through the fields of hazel trees on the outskirts of the city for the joy of young and old. A little later in the morning, in the midst of conversations and the joy of meeting again, came the time for the induction into the Confrérie de la hazelnut of two applicants. On the forecourt of the town hall, the medal of the brotherhood was presented on this day to Bernard Salomon, retired and president of the community of communes, as well as to Fabrice Dupuy, farmer. Followed the traditional aperitif where the glass of friendship was shared.
During this time, tables stand in the middle of this gourmet market, where for a new edition, convivial meals will be shared between regulars and visitors of the day. Thus, on this wonderful autumn day, the faithful and tourists sat around the meals offered by the various menus.

We need to ask the county council, the region, the Crédit Agricole and the town hall for the implementation of such an event, without forgetting the town hall employees who worked in the technical implementation. The hazelnut will come back like a festive air and memories will fill your head like beautiful sensations to be renewed…
