strike for wages at Daher, Airbus subcontractor movement
Daher employees are on strike on Wednesday 12 October. Early this morning, the employees mobilized to demand an increase in wages and more consideration from their management.
Daher employees are angry and are mobilizing this Wednesday, October 12. On strike since 6 am this morning, the employees want to defend their wages and their purchasing power.
Subcontractor of Airbus, Daher employs 600 people in Toulouse. Daher employees manage transport and logistics on the track. “We transport and manage aircraft parts for assembly”, specifies Jacques Vigneron, aeronautical operations agent at Daher.
“Since beginning of the year, we findings ours the decrease of our purchasing power and many employees can no longer finish their end of the month with dignity”.
We had a bonus of 90 € at the beginning of October, it’s just a joke, the employees did not digest the weak measures announced by our management.

Purchasing power concerns all of the company’s employees and management’s proposals do not meet the expectations of employees.
“The employees are fed up, there is no recognition from management towards the employees, no consideration, whether pecuniary or moral”, protested Jacques Vigneron.
We have had an increase of 5 to 6% over the last two years while inflation is at 10%.

The employees wishing to increase their hourly rate. They are asking for a general increase of 10% and a bonus of 1000 euros for all employees in order to “compensate for the loss of their psee purchase and to pay dedication at their work”.
