The most serious took place on Monday, in Rieumes, a town located in the south west of the department. In the morning, a woman overtakes motorists who have been waiting for tens of minutes and parks at the pumps normally reserved for heavy goods vehicles. When one of the witnesses tries to intervene to calm the situation, the 50-year-old returns to his car and comes out with a billhook. Armed with this small blade, usually used to pick mushrooms, the attacker threatens to physically attack the woman and the witness. He was finally apprehended by the gendarmes of the community of brigades of Saint-Lys, assisted by the municipal police. This individual with no criminal record will soon be summoned before the Toulouse Criminal Court.
