3 questions to Philippe Clément before Trabzonspor/AS Monaco
The AS Monaco coach was present this Wednesday evening at a press conference alongside Mohamed Camara on the eve of the Europa League match against Trabzonspor.
The challenge of the meeting
“You don’t have to think of all the possible scenarios. There are three games left in this group and we will do everything to win them. Trabzonspor is a great team, with a lot of good players, some of them with a lot of experience. They are Turkish champions, that’s something. We only played ten minutes at eleven against eleven in the last game. You will have to be good in the phases with and without the ball. It is important to take points here. »
The atmosphere at the stadium
“It’s a good thing that the fans don’t allow you to enter the pitch (smile). We expect to play this match in a full stadium, in a very warm atmosphere. The fans have a lot of passion for their team. But we like these atmospheres. It’s every little one’s dream. »
Competition within the group
“I see the team improving from week to week. Everyone pushes a lot in training. I see more and more incumbents. Automatisms are more present and not only with beginners. I don’t see any difference between those who start and those who enter during the game. In attack, we are lucky to be able to count on four attackers who are all complementary and who can form different duos. It’s going to be interesting for the next few weeks with lots and lots of games. »
